Students may pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diploma and certificate programmes in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Programmes are also available by distance
and in the summer period.

The Undergraduate programme leads to the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. It is possible to obtain a B.Sc. degree with specialization, majors and minors.

Students should ensure that they complete prerequisites for their chosen specialization/ major(s), fulfil the requirements of the Foundation Courses & obtain a minimum of 30 credits at Level I (inclusive of Foundation Courses) and 60 credits at Levels II/III.

L’University of the West Indies accueille des étudiants de partout dans le monde. Si vous voulez vous inscrire dans un cours de second cycle, veuillez écrire au service Admissions : postgrad@admin.uwi.tt et demander les formulaires d’inscription appropriés qu’il faut rendre avant le 10 janvier de l’année pour laquelle vous voulez vous inscrire.

- Maîtrise de l’anglais

La plupart des cours de l’Université sont dispensés en langue anglaise. Si votre langue maternelle n’est pas l’anglais, ou si vous êtes originaire d’un pays où l’anglais n’est pas la principale langue utilisée pour l’enseignement, vous devrez fournir des preuves que votre maîtrise des différents aspects de la langue anglaise atteint le niveau requis par l’Université, en joignant à votre demande d’admission des détails de tout diplôme d’anglais reconnu que vous aurez obtenu ainsi que de votre expérience de l’utilisation de l’anglais.

Le diplôme le plus reconnu est le Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), proposé douze fois par an dans des centres partout dans le monde. Vous êtes conseillé, en faisant la demande d’admission à l’University of the West Indies, de vous arranger pour passer le test TOEFL et demander que les résultats de votre test soient transmis directement au service Admissions.
