Holders of T&T passports are now exempt from visas to visit French Guiana

On March 19, 2016 the Decision of March 11, 2016 came into effect, modifying the Decision of July 26, 2011 regarding documents and visas required for the entry of foreigners into the territories of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique and Reunion and the collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon.

In application of these new arrangements, holders of all types of passports issued by the Trinidad and Tobago authorities are no longer required to obtain a prefectural visa for French Guiana; from now on they can enter the territories of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique and Reunion and the collectivity of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon for stays of up to three months per six-month period.
